Conference Funding for MA Students

Master's students in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures are intellectually ambitious. Those interested in presenting at professional academic conferences have access to three funding sources.

The Graduate School

• Student must commit to Graduate Research Symposium
• Student must show proof of request for additional funds

The College of Arts and Sciences

• Student must include endorsement from the department chair
• For more information, please visit the College of Arts and Sciences website

The Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures

• No formal application
• Student must submit a request to the chair in writing indicating what conference they will be attending, what their role will be (i.e. presenter, discussant), and what their estimated travel expenses will be
• Student may use the same application from one of the other funding sources
